About Jarrod

Jarrod Leestma grew up in Waynesville, OH and relocated to Cincinnati in 2016 to major in Jazz Studies at the prestigious University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (More importantly, this makes him the self-proclaimed “hippest” Realtor in Cincinnati!) His time in school included 1000s of hours of practicing, as well as studying jazz improvisation, history, arranging, and composition.

Cincinnati, Jarrod recommends making a visit to two of Cincinnati’s most swingin’ and locally-owned
listening rooms: Caffé Vivace in Walnut Hills and Schwartz’s Point in Over The Rhine.

Today, Jarrod actively plays the Flugelhorn Chair with Cincinnati’s premier British-Style Brass Band: The Fillmore Philharmonic Brass Band. Staffed by local professional musicians, students, and music educators, the group travels across the country to perform at competitions in addition to regularly performing free concerts for various Cincinnati communities throughout the year!

During Jarrod’s last semester at UC, he spent 6 months working full-time as an insurance salesman in addition to finishing his studies. After graduating, he found his way to real estate and joined The Hildebrand Team out of Mason, OH led by Kevin Hildebrand where he works today with the best administrative team in the city to help his clients get to the closing table!
